Peruvian born, I have been interested in nature, in particular wildlife, from a very young age. Now, I try to capture its beauty through photography.

My concern for the loss in biodiversity has led my passion for wildlife photography to take me to remote places with the aim of portraying endangered species.

From hummingbirds and macaws in Peru, through bears and wolves in Finland to orangutans in the jungles of Borneo, and gorillas in Rwanda, I try to expose the beauty of nature and the importance of protecting it. 

Photography is like meditation. When I'm out there in the nature, hiking a mountain or exploring the jungle, I am able to find myself and focus on the essential of life.

Peruano de nacimiento, he estado interesado en la naturaleza, en particular la vida silvestre, desde muy temprana edad, la cual trata de plasmar su belleza a través de la fotografía.

Mi preocupación por la pérdida de la biodiversidad ha hecho que mi pasión por la fotografía de vida silvestre me lleve a sitios alejados con el objetivo de retratar especies en peligro de extinción, y promover, a través de las imágenes, la conservación de dichas especies.

Desde colibríes y guacamayos en el Perú, pasando por osos y lobos en Finlandia hasta orangutanes en las selvas de Borneo y gorilas en Ruanda, trato de exponer la belleza de los animales salvajes y la importancia de protegerlos.

La fotografía es como una meditación. Cuando estoy en la naturaleza, escalando una montaña o explorando la jungla, puedo encontrarme y concentrarme en lo esencial de la vida.
